GIFT THROUGH YOUR WILL OR LIVING TRUST
We need your help to continue awarding college scholarships to the hardworking and talented Montclair High School students who are heading off to college with little to no financial support. To include MSF in your will or living trust, please use our full legal name, The Montclair Scholarship Fund, Inc.
Your attorney may find the following language helpful: I hereby give, devise and bequeath ____ (a dollar amount, or all or a percentage of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate) to The Montclair Scholarship Fund, Inc., now or formerly in the Township of Montclair, 100 Chestnut Street in the state of New Jersey, for its general purposes.
GIFT OF RETIREMENT FUNDS, LIFE INSURANCE or BANK ACCOUNTS
Naming The Montclair Scholarship Fund, Inc. as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, IRA, life insurance policy, bank or brokerage account is a generous way to make a legacy gift "outside" a will. Like a bequest, these gifts help ensure the future of a college education for Montclair High School graduates who may not otherwise be able to afford a college education and the benefits it provides.
These gifts are easy to implement and giving retirement funds is a tax-wise strategy for many donors. Contact your plan or policy administrator for a change of beneficiary form for retirement and life insurance accounts. For bank or brokerage accounts, contact your account manager for the appropriate form to file.
The IRS recognizes The Montclair Scholarship Fund, Inc. as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Our federal tax ID number is 22-6047818. If you have any questions, please contact MSF for assistance.
