On February 2, 2019, the Montclair Scholarship Fund hosted the second annual Mardi Gras Montclair, a casual evening of fabulous fun and fundraising with music, cajun food, signature cocktails and King Cake, of course! Thanks to the volunteer efforts of the Gala Committee co-chaired by Susann Connors, Shari Fox and Lisa Prince, 18 Label Street was hopping with music and socializing by attendees who helped support MSF’s mission: to provide college scholarships to MHS college-bound seniors with financial need.
Whether you sponsored or attended Mardi Gras 2019, donated items to or bid at the silent auction, or volunteered to make this event happen, the MSF Board thanks you for your support. With your help, in 2019 MSF was able to award scholarships ranging from $1500 to $5000 to 45 MHS students in need. Almost half are attending public colleges in NJ and eight are first generation college students.
Thank you for helping to fuel the bright futures of the students of Montclair and MSF hopes you can be a part of MSF’s events again!
