Why Donate?
Take a look at the skyrocketing cost of college education. This is just one of the charts from Education Data Initiative.

100% of your donation received by Montclair Scholarship Fund (MSF) supports college-bound Montclair High School students with demonstrated financial need and academic potential.
Montclair Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Donations can be made online, by electronic funds transfer (EFT), or by check payable to the Montclair Scholarship Fund and mailed to 100 Chestnut Street, Montclair, NJ 07042. Stock transfer is another great way to give (please see "Planned Giving" in our SUPPORT section for more details).
Yes. You can make a gift through your will, trust, retirement account, or life insurance. Learn more about naming Montclair Scholarship Fund in your will or estate plan, or designating MSF as a beneficiary under "Planned Giving" in our SUPPORT section.
Yes. Creating your own scholarship is easy (see "Named Scholarships" in our SUPPORT section). We recommend a donation of $5,000 for a one-year grant and $10,000 for a scholarship paid out over the course of two years. Gifts from many sources can be combined to fund your scholarship. The scholarship may be in your name or that of a family member, friend, favorite teacher, other individual, or to support a specific career path. You and your family can be listed as the donor or choose to remain anonymous. Donors of MSF named scholarships are invited to present their awards and meet recipients at the Montclair High School Annual Awards Program (typically held during the first week of June). If you are interested in establishing your own scholarship, please contact us.
We have lots that you can DO! Are you a writer, a graphic designer, photographer, journalist, artist, fundraiser, event planner, social media expert, PR professional, organizational guru, etc.? If so, MSF and our future awardees would benefit immensely from your hands-on help and expertise. In-kind donations that assist us in our fundraising for scholarships and minimize the college debt burden of MHS students are always welcome. If you are interested in volunteering or making an in-kind donation, please contact us.
