"Scholarship Sam" Competes in Van Vleck's Scarecrow Competition

For the first time, "Scholarship Sam" stood bravely with the other scarecrows in Van Vleck's annual scarecrow competition. Sadly, he was outvoted this year, but MSF has plans next year to make the most beautiful and original scarecrow that will have the entire town of Montclair talking and donating to our great organization.
Scholarship Sam may not have won this year, but it’s great to see MSF joining the community’s scarecrow competition and bringing some creativity to the cause. The plans to come back with an even more original scarecrow next year sound exciting! When I get bored, for a joke I sometimes say, “Take My Online Class For me,” but a fun community project like this is definitely a better way to spend the time.
What a fun and creative way to bring the community together and raise awareness for such a great organization! “Scholarship Sam” may not have won this year, but it’s wonderful to see the enthusiasm and plans to come back even stronger next year. It’s great seeing community events like the Van Vleck scarecrow competition bring people together for a good cause. I remember helping a small campus club decorate a themed display for a fall fair once, and even though we didn’t win, everyone had fun seeing our idea come to life.
