Many, many thanks to this open-hearted church's congregation! We are so grateful to have been included in the Christmas Offering from Union Congregational Church in Montclair. Union’s 2021 Christmas Offering supported ten outstanding groups working to meet critical needs both in our area and around the world in five categories: Immigration and Refugees; Housing Insecurity and Homelessness; Food Insecurity and Hunger; Climate Change; and Education.
Church members were invited to select among the causes and organizations they wished to support and Union’s Outreach Committee matched all gifts designated under this offering. Despite moving to online services in mid-December due to concerns regarding the increased risk of COVID-19 at that time, Union raised $3,823 for the Montclair Scholarship Fund. We welcome Union Cong as a first time institutional donor and appreciate their recognition and support.
