Montclair Scholarship Fund single and multi-year awards are applied to the cost of tuition with the overall mission of reducing student debt load. Co-President and Board Trustee Susann Connors notes, “The skyrocketing cost of tuition really puts a tremendous burden on students who have worked very hard to qualify for college and are struggling to put together a four-year funding plan. The Montclair Scholarship Fund’s goal is to reduce overall college debt by narrowing the gap between total costs and available funding. We are grateful to the greater Montclair community for supporting fundraisers such as Mardi Gras Montclair, making individual and corporate donations, and establishing scholarships that support the opportunities that a college degree brings.”
